Position Overview: 

We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the woodworking industry, with a specific focus on sanding cabinets to prepare them for finishing. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Sand cabinets, doors, and drawers to smooth surfaces in preparation for staining, sealing, or painting.

- Utilize various sanding tools and techniques to achieve a flawless surface.

- Inspect surfaces for flaws or imperfections and perform necessary corrections.

- Apply sealants or fillers to prepare surfaces for final finishing.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety and health regulations.

- Work closely with the finishing team to ensure a cohesive and high-quality end product.

- Regularly maintain and care for sanding equipment and tools.

- Assist in other areas of cabinet finishing as needed.

Qualifications: 

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Finisher, Woodworker, or similar role with an emphasis on sanding.

- Strong knowledge of different wood types and their finishing characteristics.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment.

- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.

- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in carpentry or a related field is a plus.
