Summary:

Dump Truck Operators ensure the timely delivery of material in a safe and courteous manner. Operator will load and distribute material based on a customer’s specifications.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

·         Conduct your work safety

·         Deliver material to the jobsite within assigned timeframe

·         Operate truck to assist in distributing material

·         Provide outstanding customer service

·         Ensure completion of required paperwork prior to dumping material

·         Keep truck clean and presentable at all times

·         Return to quarry at a timely manner to receive next load

·         Possess a “GO-GETTER” mentality

Operator Qualifications:

·        Current CDL Class B or higher

·        Good driving record (MVR Requested)

·        Submit for a criminal background check

·        Clear Drug/Alcohol Clearinghouse

·        Pass a DOT drug screen (pre-screen)

·        Current DOT Medical Card

·        No felony convictions within the past ten years

·        No unexplained gaps in employment

Working Conditions:

·        Monday – Saturday schedule (with every other weekend off)

·        Overtime is expected  

·        Expect to work outdoors in elements

Physical Requirements:

·          Able to lift/carry 50lbs regularly  

·        Able to walk up and down ladders/stairs regularly         

·        Ability to work in varying weather conditions        

·         Ability to perform preventive maintenance on the trucks (greasing and cleaning)
