Job Summary:

A Plant Manager oversees every part of a plant's operations. A Plant Manager assists with drivers, monitors inventory, approves time for payroll weekly, batches the loads of concrete into the mixer trucks, and ensures the plant is running at optimum levels. The Plant Manager would also handle the drivers' needs and the payments being returned to the plants for processing.

Pay rates are based upon experience and will be discussed in a face-to-face interview

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation of the plant
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate personnel
• Receive and enter production orders from customers
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedure
• Possess a "GO-GETTER" mentality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Computer skills (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• No felony convictions within the past ten years
• Good driving record (preferred)
• CDL A or B (preferred)
• Submit for a criminal background check
• Clear Drug/Alcohol Clearinghouse (preferred)
• Pass a drug screen
• DOT Medical Card (preferred)
• No unexplained gaps in employment
• At least 1 year of concrete / ready mix experience
• At least 1 year batching experience
• At least 1 year Management experience
