Summary:

The cuber operator is tasked with operating the automated cuber to palletize concrete block for sale.  The cuber operator helps with quality control on the production line.

Pay rates are based upon experience and will be discussed in a face-to-face interview. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain automated equipment
• Ensure quality on all products produced (Correct size, shape, and color)
• Housekeeping of work area, production facility and equipment at the end of the shift.
• Assist with repairs when breakdowns occur
• Ensure products are prepared for shipment using automated palletizing machine.
• Adjust blocks to properly align for shipment
• Ensure the mixer is cleaned and clear to continue loading

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred
• Forklift operation knowledge
• Experience with operating automated machinery preferred

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock or burn.
• The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be loud, but is typically moderate.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 75lbs unassisted
• Must be able to maneuver heavy items with assistance
