SRM Family Days

In 2021 SRM hosted 11 'Family Day' events for our team to spend a day with their families. Over 7,000 team members and their families joined us at local amusement parks and sporting events.


Professional Development

Developing and investing in our team has always been a priority at SRM. Throughout the year, we provide our team members opportunities to grow and let their voices be heard. Through conferences, certifications, leadership books, and training our team members are challenged to examine every aspect of their role and ways they can grow personally and professionally.


Team SRM

SRM is fostering an environment of local engagement across all of the communities we are involved in. By teaming up to support our communities on a local level, our teams are able to build relationships with members of their communities and with each other.


Leadership Week

SRM hosts an annual Leadership Conference in Murfreesboro, TN. Team members from all of our locations come to hear our leaders cast vision for the upcoming year, connect with each other, and learn from an esteemed speaker.


Team Appreciation Day

Although SRM is striving to build a culture of appreciation of our team members year round, we pick one day a year to treat our team to lunch and gift them some new gear.


World of Concrete

Every year, we take over 200 team members to the World of Concrete Conference in Las Vegas. At the conference, our team members participate in workshops, listen to speakers, and compete in trades-related challenges.

Hiring Internally

One of the ways SRM is developing our team members is by hiring within our company for leadership positions. In 2022, SRM promoted 8 team members to General Manager and over 30 team members to Plant Manager.

The Go-Getter Award

We recognize and appreciate the hard work of our team members by selecting a weekly “Go-Getter” nominated by their coworkers. A Go-Getter is someone who goes above and beyond to get the job done every day, and we believe they deserve to be appreciated and encouraged for their effort.
