NASHVILLE, TN - July 30th, 2021
SRM Concrete announced the acquisition of Indiana-based mixer company, Indiana Phoenix Inc., on Friday, July 30th. This acquisition will allow SRM to begin supplementing the company's high demand for mixer trucks.
Indiana Phoenix has been producing high-quality mixer trucks for over 20 years out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In addition to acquiring a 59,000 square foot facility, SRM will gain over 80 skilled and experienced team members.
CEO, Jeff Hollingshead, stated, "We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Indiana Phoenix. This transaction enables us to build our own mixer trucks and give us an incredible competitive advantage. Our largest expenditure is purchasing mixers, and with this acquisition, we will be able to better control our costs. The synergies are limitless.”
After meeting with the company’s new employees, SRM Concrete President, Mike Hollingshead, said, “We welcome all of the Phoenix staff into our SRM family, and we look forward to growing this business with them over the next many years.”
