SRM Concrete announced the acquisition of Louisville-based Allstate Ready Mix today. The addition of this plant, totaling 10 in the Greater Louisville area, will help to strengthen SRM’s service capabilities in the region.

CEO, Jeff Hollingshead stated, “We’re excited to welcome everyone at Allstate Ready Mix the SRM team. This acquisition will help to fill a service gap in a growing market, and we believe it will help us to better serve our customers.”

This is the second acquisition of 2022 for the Smyrna-based ready-mix company following a year in which SRM acquired 12 companies amounting to nearly 50 concrete plants.

SRM Concrete is the largest privately-owned ready-mix concrete manufacturer in the country.
