WOODBURY, TN — June 23, 2026

SRM Materials has completed a major investment at its Woodbury, Tennessee, quarry with the installation of new processing equipment designed to increase production capacity and improve operational efficiency at the site.

The upgraded operation enhances SRM Materials’ ability to supply high-quality aggregate products to customers throughout Middle Tennessee while supporting the company’s growing network of ready-mix plants and construction operations.

“We’re excited to continue investing in our Woodbury quarry and strengthening our ability to serve customers across Tennessee and surrounding markets,” said Ryan Hollingshead, President of SRM Materials. “This expansion improves our production capabilities and reinforces our material availability from the site. As the first quarry SRM Materials acquired, Woodbury has been a valued part of our company’s growth, and we’re grateful for the support of the local community as we continue creating opportunities, investing in our workforce, and helping meet the region’s construction needs.”

The improvements position the Woodbury quarry to better support infrastructure, commercial, and residential construction projects throughout the region. Increased production capacity and enhanced processing capabilities will also help improve material availability and quality.

The materials division was created to provide SRM Concrete plants with dependable aggregates and has since expanded to produce and supply limestone, granite, river rock, and sand products to a wide range of customers.

Founded in 1999 by Mike and Melissa Hollingshead in Smyrna, Tennessee, SRM Concrete is a family-owned company that operates a network of ready-mix plants, quarries, cement terminals, and related services across 24 states.
